ISO-Roll and ISO-Roll plus are insulating glasses with
a foil roller blind for sun protection and glare protection
installed in the space between the panes of 24 mm. The
metal coated foils consist of multi-layer polyester
and reflect direct and diffuse sun and energy radiation
outwards. The total energy transmission rate (g-value)
is reduced up to 9%. The roller blind can be operated
up and down and stops in every desired position.
While closed, it is possible to see through the blind
in its transparent foil version. Reflections on computer
workplaces are virtually eliminated.
With ISO-Roll and ISO-Roll plus vertical glazing as
well as roof glazing is possible. In vertical glazing
the foil has a crosswise profile in order to give a
more attractive optical impression. The direction of
the foil travel is freely selectable, from the bottom
upwards or top down.
Due to the direction of the foil travel from the bottom
up in vertical glazing with ISO-Roll plus, the sunshading
and glare protection can be adjusted exactly, thus optimizing
the utilisation of daylight in buildings.Through the
reduction of luminance in the lower pane side, ISO-Roll
plus fulfils the EC-standards for computer workplaces
and at the same time allows the contact to the outside
world. Moreover, natural daylight comes into rooms through
the upper transparent pane area.
Drive of the roller blind by a high-quality
and maintenance-free 24 V DC-motor
Control: single or group controls, infrared
remote control, temperature or sun light controller,
time switches, BUS controls
Foils and colours of the roller blind: foils
in transparent or nontransparent design, colours
silver – silver or silver – anthracite
Possible combinations with thermal insulation
glass, sunshading and facade glasses, screen
printed and sandblasted glasses.
Further fields of application: sound insulation,
safety and security, fire protection class EI
30, X-ray protection and laser protection
Model panes (special shapes) possible on request
Usability and ways of installation: in nearly
every system of windows, facades and partitions,
windows, doors, partition walls and post-and-beam
structures made of aluminium, steel, timber,
timber-aluminium and plastics
