The legal regulations make high demands on fire protection glazing concerning manufacture and functionality as well as esthetics. To the modern glass architecture Glastec offers tested special solutions for maximised glass surfaces in sophisticated all-glass appearance.
The butt-joint glazing Pyroplan with almost invisible gaps between the panes enables the creation of flush and limitless runs of glass in fire resistant categories EI 30 and EI 60.
The Glastec product series of fire-resistant glasses range from double or triple insulating glasses to combinations with built-in roller blinds and lamellae systems for sunshading, vision control, alarm glasses, noise reduction etc.
The fire protection glasses used for these glazings have passed the tests acc. to EN 1363-1. Dependent on their composition the fire-resistance is classified as in accordance with EN 13501. They can be installed both in glazing and doors.
Glastec’s application engineers are prepared to give expert advice on the individual project and work out the optimal solutions according to the particular fire protection requirements and specifications.
