Glastec Sicurtec alarm glass provides protection against
break-in, damage to property and vandalism without any
incommoding wires in the field of vision. The tempered
glass is fitted with a silk-screen and burned-in alarm
circuit sensor connected to the alarm system and continually
held under low-electricity. An attack on any part of
the glass sets off the alarm.
The Sicurtec alarm circuit sensor is approved and certificated
according to the VdS with the Nr. G102055. The manufacture
is subject to internal as well as external inspections.
The alarm circuit sensor is placed in one of the upper
or lower corners of the glass. The final situation is
depending on the type of the insulating glass. The solderings
on the alarm circuit are in the space between the panes,
about 5 mm from the spacer, or outside in the edge sealing.
Two realisations of the alarm circuit are available.
In the “Standard” version the solderings
in the space between the panes are visible, but enable
a gas-proof edge sealing fulfilling the requirements
of thermal insulation. In the version “Alt”
the solderings are in the edge sealing made of silicone
and gas fillings are not possible.
Glastec Sicurtec alarm glass is the outer pane of the
insulating glass. As inner pane further specialist glasses
up to fire protection glasses are used. Thus a wide
range of structural safety measures is accomplished.
